What We’re About

🐾We care about animals – the ones in our homes, in rescues/shelters, and outside our windows. We support rescue, celebrate progress, recommend products we actually use, and share real life – not perfect life.

🐾We’re Gen X, so we don’t sugarcoat much. Life with this crew is funny, messy and sometimes you just can’t make this shit up. Around here, you’ll get the good, the bad and the WTFs.

🐾We believe rescue changes lives – theirs and ours. We’ll talk about puppy mills, life after survival, the animals who find their way to us, and what they’ve taught us along the way.
